There is a beautiful lotus pond next to my grandmother's house.

　　There are some duckweed growing in the lotus pond. Duckweed is light green, which is written in the ancient poem "If you don't understand the hidden traces, duckweed will bloom together". There are many lotus leaves and flowers on it, and sometimes you can see some dragonflies hovering in the air.

　　Lotus leaves are one by one, looking like a green ocean from a distance, and looking up, lotus leaves are like umbrellas. When my brother and I were young, we often used lotus leaves as umbrellas to block the rain. The stem that supports the lotus leaf is covered with short small thorns.

　　There are various types of lotus flowers, some of which are still flower buds, waiting to bloom; Some petals are all unfolded, layer by layer, like a group of beautiful Fairy dancing in circles around the flower core. The upper part of the petals is deep red, and the color becomes lighter as it goes down, turning into a light pink. The flower core is yellow and emits a faint fragrance. Sometimes a few small bees come to visit and gather nectar.

　　The lotus pond next to Grandma's house is really beautiful!
