表示一次、一番等義(通常與 have, take, make, give 等動(dòng)詞連用)。如：

I think I’ll go for a swim. 我想游泳去。

The couple had a violent quarrel. 這對(duì)夫妻發(fā)生了激烈的爭(zhēng)吵。

We had a visit from Richard on Sunday. 星期日理查德來(lái)拜訪我們。

Have a try at the exam. I’m sure you will pass. 考考試試，你肯定能通過(guò)。

I snatched a look at the answers while the teacher was out of the room. 趁老師不在房間時(shí)，我迅速地偷看了一下答案。
