中考英語知識(shí)點(diǎn)：定冠詞的用法

　　1、用于特指的或說話雙方知道的人或事物。

　　例如：Look at the eraser on the floor. Whose is it?

　　看地板上的這塊橡皮。會(huì)是誰的呢？

　　Last year we went ti an ols people’s home. The old people were very happy.

　　去年我們?nèi)チ艘患依夏旯�寓。那些老人都非常高興。

　　2、由于指代上文已提到的人或事物。

　　例如：My uncle bought a house. The house has a beautiful garden.

　　我叔叔買了幢房子。那幢房子帶有一個(gè)漂亮的花園。

　　3、用于單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞前，表示一類人或事物。

　　例如：The brain is the center of thought.

　　大腦是思想的中心。

　　The panda is one of the animals in danger.

　　熊貓是瀕危動(dòng)物中的一種。

　　注意：表示一類人或事物時(shí)，可以用不定冠詞或定冠詞加可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)，也可以直接用可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)形式。

　　A horse is a useful animal.

　　The horse is a useful animals.

　　Horses are useful animals.

　　馬是一種有用的動(dòng)物。
